Cinnamon Apples

Ingredients
4 | McIntosh or Granny Smith apples | peeled and sliced | |
1/2 | cup | light brown sugar | firmly packed |
1 | tsp | ground cinnamon | |
1/4 | tsp | ground nutmeg | |
2 | Tbsp | water | |
1 | Tbsp | butter |
Directions
- Toss together the first four ingredients in a large, zip-top plastic bag, tossing to coat apples.
- Cook apple mixture, water, and butter in a medium sauce pan over medium heat, stirring ocassionally, 8 to 10 minutes or until apples are tender.
