Cream Candy

Ingredients
3 | lbs | white sugar |
1/2 | pint | heavy cream |
8 | Tbsp | warm water |
1/2 | stick | butter |
1 | Tbsp | vanilla extract |
Directions
Let come to a full rolling boil. Add half a stick of butter a little at a time so as to not stop boiling. Test a little at a time in cold water (to hard ball stage). Pour onto marble slab. Pour on at least a tablespoon of pure vanilla extract. Let cool enough to handle. Pull and cut.
