Ingredients
3 | oz | cream cheese | softened |
3 | Tbsp | butter | melted |
2 | cups | chicken | cooked and cubed |
2 | Tbsp | milk | |
1 | Tbsp | chives | chopped |
1/4 | tsp | salt | |
1/8 | tsp | pepper | |
3/4 | cup | croutons | crushed |
8 | oz | crescent rolls | (1 can) |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F. In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese with 2 Tbsp. of butter (reserving 1 Tbsp.) until smooth. Add the next five ingredients and mix well. Separate crescent dough into four rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon ½ cup of the meat mixture onto the center of each rectangle. Pull the four corners of the dough to the top center of the chicken mixture, twist slightly, and seal the edges. Brush the tops with the reserved butter and sprinkle on the crouton crumbs. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 20–25, minutes until golden brown.
