Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

2 lbs red potatoes or russet peeled
1-2 cloves garlic chopped
4 Tbsp butter melted
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup cheddar cheese grated
1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese grated
1 cup milk

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 °F.
  2. Grease 9"x9" baking dish.
  3. Slice potatoes ⅛" thick.
  4. Layer half each of potatoes, garlic, butter, salt, pepper, and mixed cheeses.
  5. Add a second layer the same as above.
  6. Pour milk over all.
  7. Bake 1-1½ hours until potatoes are tender.
