Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients
2 | lbs | red potatoes or russet | peeled |
1-2 | cloves | garlic | chopped |
4 | Tbsp | butter melted | |
1 | tsp | salt | |
1/2 | tsp | black pepper | |
1/2 | cup | cheddar cheese | grated |
1/2 | cup | Monterey Jack cheese | grated |
1 | cup | milk |
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 °F.
- Grease 9"x9" baking dish.
- Slice potatoes ⅛" thick.
- Layer half each of potatoes, garlic, butter, salt, pepper, and mixed cheeses.
- Add a second layer the same as above.
- Pour milk over all.
- Bake 1-1½ hours until potatoes are tender.
