Spritz Cookies

Ingredients
| 1 | cup | butter | softened |
| 1/2 | cup | sugar | |
| 2 1/4 | cups | flour | not self-rising |
| 1/2 | tsp | salt | |
| 1 | egg | ||
| 1 | tsp | almond extract |
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 400 °F.
Mix butter and sugar then mix in remaining ingredients.
Place dough in a cookie press and form desired shapes on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until set but not brown (6-9 minutes). Immediatly remove from cookie sheet.
Notes
If making ribbon cookies, cut before removing from cookie sheet.
