Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
3 | cups | flour |
1 3/4 | cups | sugar |
1 1/2 | tsp | almond extract |
1 1/2 | eggs | |
1/2 | Tbsp | baking powder |
1 1/4 | tsp | salt |
1 | cup | butter |
3 | Tbsp | milk |
Directions
Cream butter and sugar. Then add flour, baking powder, and salt. Add remaining ingredients. Chill for several hours or overnight. Roll dough to ¼" thickness; cut into desired shapes. Place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 °F for 10–12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Decorate as desired.
