Meat Balls

Ingredients
3/4 | lb | ground beef | |
1/4 | lb | ground pork | |
1 | cup | bread crumbs | approx 4 slices |
1/2 | cup | parmesan cheese | grated |
1 | Tbsp | parsley | |
1 | clove | garlic | minced |
1/2 | cup | milk | |
2 | eggs | beaten | |
1 | tsp | salt | |
1/4 | tsp | pepper |
Directions
Mix all ingredients by hand in a large bowl. Form into 2 inch balls and broil until brown (about 9 minutes), turning when needed. Cook in sauce ½ hour.
Serve with tomato sauce and spaghetti.
Notes
The meat balls freeze very well. If making tomato sauce, the meat balls can be thawed and cooked in the sauce as it simmers.
